Hailed by
The New York Times as "a major artist" following Nancy Allen New York recital debut in 1975. Allen joined the New York Philharmonic in June of 1999 as Principal Harpist. She maintains a busy international concert schedule and heads the harp departments of The Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, and the Aspen Music Festival and School.
Allen is a native of New York, where she studied at The Juilliard School. In 1973, she won the Fifth International Harp Competition, in Israel, and was later awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Solo Recitalist Award.

Arianna String Quartet has firmly established itself as one of America's finest chamber ensembles. 1994 they won the Grand Prize in the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, and First Prize in both the Coleman and Carmel Chamber Music Competitions.
Alexander Tutunov was First Prize winner of the Belarusian National Piano Competition and winner of the Russian National Piano Competition, Tutunov's playing was described by Soviet Culture, Moscow, as "exhilarating and inspired, and which demonstrated a unique talent."

Jeffrey Biegel enjoys a multi-faceted career as a pianist, composer and arranger. He’s praised by many for his energetic playing, adventurous spirit and electrifying technique.
In 1997, Biegel performed the first global real audio/video cybercast piano recital from New York’s Steinway Hall, and followed that with the first such European cybercast from Amsterdam. In 1999, he assembled the largest consortium of orchestras at the time (27 orchestras) to celebrate the millennium with a new work called “The Millennium Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra,” composed for him by Ellen Taaffe Zwilich.

For the opening concert of Britt’s 48th Classical Festival, Maestro Bay and the Britt Orchestra will be joined by violinist Chee-Yun.
Chee-Yun performs both with major orchestras and in solo recitals around the world. She has been praised for her bold playing and easy command of the instrument. The New York Times wrote, “This is a talented instrumentalist, with the kind of high-gloss tone that pulls sensuously at the listener’s ear.”
