In turn-of-the-century Paris, Gaston, the heir to a fortune, is bored with his superficial lifestyle. His only joy is visiting his uncle's former mistress, now a grandmother, and Gigi, her granddaughter. Gigi finds her only joy when her friend and confident Gaston comes to visit. Their friendship develops into love as Gigi's relatives connive to make her Gaston's mistress. But Gigi has other plans in this delightful Cinderella story.

The AIFF rolls out the red carpet to celebrate the Academy Awards!
Sunday March 7, 4-9 PM at the History Ashland Armory
Gather with other film lovers to watch the show live and find out this year's winners. The broadcast will be projected on two 30 foot screens, with professional sound, so that every seat in the house has a great view and you won't miss a word!
The evening will feature a silent auction offering with items donated by local businesses. This is a fundraising event for the AIFF

Oregon for the number and quality of rafting options. Springtime offers true off-the-beaten-path adventures on rivers few people are lucky enough to visit.
From June – September there are amazing warm weather options. Half-day and full-day trips from Ashland are considered by many to be the best summer whitewater on the west coast. These trips are a great compliment to the Shakespeare Festival – a day of excitement combined with an evening of culture.
Note that many of our day trips during the busiest time of year (July and August) book up way ahead of time.
For most of our rafting trips you do not need to be an experienced adventurer, an athlete, or even to have ever touched a paddle. Our trips are designed for those who like or want to be introduced to the outdoors and our goal is to make these places we love accessible to everyone. Trips range from mild to heart-pounding - from “wow, I can’t believe we just did that” rapids to jaw dropping beauty that can be enjoyed by three generations of family and friends.
